Associate Content Researcher

About the role

Data Content Research team at Morningstar India builds data process solutions and impact analyses for new data and changes. The Associate Content Researcher designs new data flows, builds backend logic, and provides data quality proposals to drive operational excellence. Based in Mumbai, the role works in a hybrid model with four days in‑office each week.

What you’ll do

• Review and interpret business requirements to propose actionable data and process solutions
• Use data mining to surface data issues and support data strategy decision‑making
• Design new data flow and user interface, build backend logic to ensure data accuracy
• Provide solution and consultation for data processing improvement
• Interpret data methodologies into usable technology language through detailed specifications
• Conduct feasibility and impact analysis of data solutions
• Communicate with stakeholders on potential impacts or risks and plan mitigation
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure proper implementation and documentation

What you’ll bring

• 3-6 years business/data analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, economics, or business
• Experience with SQL
• Basic programming in Python
• Understanding of database structure and design
• Strong quantitative and business analysis skills
• Excellent English communication
• Profound understanding of fund data
