Senior Business Analyst, Central Expense Unit

About the role

Central Expense Unit supports Citi's Banking team with expense reporting and analytics. The Senior Business Analyst delivers high‑quality data, presentations and independent analysis to senior management, manages monthly charge‑back and charitable expense processes, creates purchase orders and oversees invoice processing while ensuring compliance and accurate KPI reporting. Based in Mumbai, India, this role works on‑site at the office with minimal travel.

What you’ll do

• Provide data analysis and presentations to senior management
• Manage monthly charge‑back processes for expense allocation
• Oversee charitable and sponsorship expense workflows
• Create purchase orders and process invoices
• Execute approval workflows and reconciliations
• Identify automation opportunities to improve reporting
• Ensure accurate KPI reporting under strict deadlines
• Address ad‑hoc requests and meet tight deadlines

What you’ll bring

• 5-8 years relevant experience
• Advanced MS Office expertise
• Experience with databases and information management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimal travel required
• Office setting with high concentration
