Specialist, Supply Chain Management

About the role

Carrier Global Corporation is hiring a Specialist, Supply Chain Management in Hyderabad to design, build, and deploy AI agents and automated workflows that directly run procurement processes. Day-to-day work includes developing category spend analytics, commodity intelligence, and RFQ/RFP automation agents, mapping source-to-pay workflows, translating domain rules into agent logic, integrating with ERP and market data, and partnering with category, plant, finance, and IT teams to pilot and scale agents into production. The role is hybrid and based at Raheja Mindspace, Cyberabad, Madhapur, Hyderabad.

• Partner with category teams, plants, finance, and IT to pilot, deploy, and scale agents into production; train end users and drive adoption.
• Track and report agent performance, savings impact, and adoption metrics; present use cases and outcomes to senior leadership.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• 5-6 years of experience spanning procurement/supply chain with hands-on exposure to AI, automation, or analytics, or a data science/automation background with strong appetite to learn procurement doma
• Hands-on experience building with LLM/GenAI platforms (e.g., Claude, Copilot Studio, ChatGPT) and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power BI).
• Working proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and agent/workflow logic.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes — source-to-pay, category management, RFQ/RFP — and, ideally, commodity/hedging management.
• Comfort working directly with prompt engineering and agentic AI frameworks, not just consuming AI tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in HVAC, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
• Exposure to ERP/source-to-pay platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and BI tools (Power BI).
• Track record of presenting AI/automation use cases to senior or executive stakeholders.
