Salesforce QA Automation Engineer

About the role

This role supports the UAE operations of the AccelQ team at Salesforce, focusing on QA automation for Salesforce applications. Day-to-day work includes building and executing automated tests with AccelQ, validating Apex, Lightning components, workflows, and integrations, and performing API, functional, regression, and system testing across web apps, portals, and back-office systems. The position is based in Trivandrum, India, and is an offshore work-from-home full-time role.

What you’ll do

• Execute automated testing for Salesforce applications using the AccelQ tool
• Validate Salesforce modules, Apex, Lightning components, workflows, and integrations
• Perform API automation testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools
• Conduct functional, regression, and system testing
• Test web applications, portals, and back-office systems
• Apply automation frameworks such as Hybrid, Data-Driven, and Page Object Model (POM)
• Use JIRA and/or Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and reporting
• Support CI/CD pipelines and apply analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of strong experience in QA automation testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing for Salesforce applications using AccelQ
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce modules, Apex, Lightning components, workflows, and integrations
• Hands-on experience with AccelQ, including workflow testing
• Experience in API automation testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools
• Experience in functional, regression, and system testing
• Experience testing web applications, portals, and back-office systems
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks, including Hybrid, Data-Driven, and Page Object Model (POM) frameworks
