Senior Financial Services Analyst

About the role

Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) seeks a Senior Financial Services Analyst to manage high-volume back-end settlement transactions and financial reporting in Hyderabad, Telangana. The role involves reconciling assigned accounts, monitoring data transfers between Microsoft Dynamics, payment processors, and settlement banks, and analyzing payment processing fees for cost-saving opportunities. The analyst will also investigate chargebacks, support financial close activities, and guide junior team members under general supervision.

What you’ll do

• Accurately settle high-volume financial transactions and ensure timely reconciliation of assigned accounts
• Monitor and ensure smooth data transfers between systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, external payment processors, and settlement banks
• Reconcile directed fund movements with actual results and prepare standard/ad hoc reports on clearing and settlement activity
• Perform complex data analysis and identify any financial discrepancies
• Address discrepancies and communicate them with key stakeholders
• Enter and manage debit/credit transactions with precision
• Investigate chargebacks and coordinate with merchant banks and credit card issuers
• Analyze payment processing fees to identify cost-saving opportunities

What you’ll bring

• CA Semi-Qualified with completed articleship
• Minimum 4 years of post-articleship accounting experience with strong working knowledge of debits, credits, and reconciliations
• At least 1 year of experience in a team handling or supervisory capacity
• Advanced Excel skills with hands-on experience managing large datasets
• Familiarity with Electronic Funds Movement processes and financial systems
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Well-organized, self-driven, and capable of working independently under general supervision
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of Power Query, Pivot Tables, and Power BI
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
