About the role

Enterprise Applications team at Birlasoft delivers end‑to‑end finance solutions on JD Edwards. The Senior JDE Finance Functional Lead drives design, development and rollout of finance modules, guides a consulting team and ensures projects meet scope, schedule and budget. Based in Pune, on‑site at the Birlasoft office, the role collaborates with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and mentors staff on best practices.

What you’ll do

• Lead design and implementation of JDE finance solutions aligned with business objectives
• Manage multiple implementation projects, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget delivery
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex issues for consulting team
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specs
• Drive continuous improvement by staying current with enterprise application trends
• Coordinate with cloud and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, scalable deployments
• Mentor and develop team members in best practices and methodologies
• Facilitate agile project ceremonies and reporting

What you’ll bring

• 7-10 years experience in enterprise finance applications
• Strong project management and multi‑project delivery
• Technical expertise with JD Edwards, databases and system integration
• Proficiency in Java, Python or C# development
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of enterprise and business architecture
• ITIL certification preferred
• Excellent communication and client management
