About the role

Super Micro's Field Application Engineering team drives revenue growth across the local and SEA region by delivering optimized server and data center solutions. The Senior Field Application Engineer architects technical solutions, leads pre‑sales engagements, and guides hardware/software teams through product development and field issue resolution, including on‑site visits and audits. Bangalore, India, hybrid with on‑site visits as needed, up to 30% travel.

What you’ll do

• Support revenue growth across local and SEA region accounts
• Architect and present optimized technical solutions to channel and enterprise customers
• Lead pre‑sales technical engagements and oversee solution implementation
• Engage with customer technical teams to build trust and resolve issues
• Lead hardware and software engineering teams during product development and field issue resolution
• Develop system solutions, bid responses, and presentations
• Conduct on‑site visits for solution integration, audits, and data center surveys

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years experience with Compute/Storage Server or Data Center or IT Infrastructure
• Strong background in x86 and GPU‑based server architecture
• Solid hardware system expertise and diagnostics
• Familiarity with Firmware, Linux, Windows, virtualization platforms
