ETL Developer Manager

About the role

MUFG Global Service Private Ltd. builds robust financial data platforms that enable secure, high‑performance analytics for global banking operations. As an ETL Developer Manager you will lead the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines, mentor a team of engineers, and collaborate with product managers and architects to deliver scalable ETL solutions. Bengaluru, India, on‑site role, hybrid schedule with occasional remote days as needed.

What you’ll do

• Gather and translate client requirements into technical specifications and backlog items
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and data integration services
• Write, test, and debug code for web‑based features and backend systems
• Integrate third‑party services and ensure high availability and performance
• Create and maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures
• Automate testing and implement quality assurance processes
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver features from design to production
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in software design

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years software development experience
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with RESTful services and microservices architecture
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle or SQL Server
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux and shell scripting
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket
• Financial services domain experience a plus
