About the role

Applied Machine Learning Team at Lytx develops machine learning and computer vision algorithms to monitor driver behavior and improve road safety. The Senior Machine Learning Scientist leads end‑to‑end DL/ML model development, cloud/edge deployment, and collaborates with product teams to deliver AI‑driven safety features. Bangalore, India, on‑site, Full‑time, relocation available.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with product teams across the ML feature lifecycle
• Design, prototype, train and debug DL/ML models
• Develop and optimize cloud and edge deployment pipelines
• Implement data engineering and dataset versioning solutions
• Optimize model performance for latency and throughput
• Drive ambiguous problems to clear technical outcomes
• Present complex technical work to non‑technical stakeholders

What you’ll bring

• PhD or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, EE or related field
• 7+ years applied ML experience
• Experience with distributed training on multi‑GPU/multi‑node systems
• Managing terabyte‑scale ML datasets and versioning
• Computer vision expertise in object detection or video understanding
• Cloud ML platforms (AWS) and MLOps tooling
• Strong Python; C++/CUDA a plus
• SQL with large‑scale data warehouses
