About the role

As a Lead Software Engineer – Lead Data Architect you will define end‑to‑end architecture for high‑throughput data systems, drive AI/ML and GenAI integration, and lead technical governance across the portfolio. Mumbai, India, on‑site role.

What you’ll do

• Define and drive end‑to‑end architecture for distributed data platforms
• Lead design reviews, architecture governance, and technical decision‑making
• Architect cloud‑native solutions on AWS with focus on reliability, security and cost
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL data solutions for performance and scale
• Integrate AI/ML and GenAI capabilities into production platforms
• Establish enterprise‑wide patterns, standards and reference architectures
• Mentor senior technical talent and lead hiring initiatives
• Own non‑functional requirements, SLOs/SLAs and drive performance, resiliency and observability

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years software engineering experience
• 10+ years data architecture experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Expertise in relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB) databases
• Proficiency in Java 17+ and microservices
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Hands‑on AI/ML and GenAI integration (LLMs, vector stores, MLOps)
• Strong design and architectural thinking
