About the role
Digital Experiences team at Mindstix builds scalable Python backend solutions for global brands across eCommerce, SaaS, and Health Tech. The Senior Python Developer designs, develops, and maintains APIs and microservices, collaborates with frontend, DevOps, and product teams, and drives code quality through testing and reviews. Pune, India, on-site, hybrid schedule with office presence as needed.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop scalable Python applications and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver backend solutions
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security
- Integrate third‑party APIs and services
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Implement automated testing frameworks and unit tests
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years backend Python development
- Experience with Django, Flask or FastAPI
- Building RESTful APIs and microservice architecture
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis)
- Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) knowledge
