About the role
The Brand and Communication Specialist at ZEISS Vision Care aligns with Product Management on positioning, value proposition, target segments, launch roadmap, and lifecycle priorities, and develops the Strategic Marketing Plan for VCS. Day-to-day work includes consolidating market and competitor insights into segment strategies and personas, driving product concept definition and market validation, defining presence at industry events, developing digital content and engagement programs, owning go-to-market plans, and managing campaign, content, and claims governance with Regulatory/Legal/Compliance/Brand. The role is based in Bangalore or Guangzhou and is a full-time position.
What you’ll do
- Align with Product Management on positioning, value proposition, target segments, launch roadmap, and lifecycle priorities; develop the Strategic Marketing Plan for VCS
- Consolidate market, customer, and competitor insights into segment strategies, personas, and content needs; build awareness and drive customer engagement
- Drive product concept definition and market validation (interviews, surveys, concept tests, pilots) to inform roadmap decisions
- Define VCS product and consultation presence at key industry events, trade shows, and congresses; establish differentiating positioning
- Develop digital content and engagement programs to nurture prospective customers through the buying journey and position ZEISS as the authority on consultation excellence
- Own go-to-market plans for assigned products/solutions and coordinate cross-functional launch execution with PM, Marketing Ops, Sales, and regional/local marketing
- Manage campaign, content, and claims governance: create briefs, translate features to customer-centric benefits, develop evidence-based value propositions, and manage substantiation and approvals
- Review campaign performance and derive optimizations; collect structured feedback from Sales and customers; ensure brand, pricing, and compliance adherence; document plans and align calendars
What you’ll bring
- University degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a relevant technical field with strong marketing orientation
- Advanced years in B2B marketing, product marketing or portfolio marketing
- Proven track record in product launches and go-to-market planning
- Close collaboration with Product Management and Marketing Operations
- Experience in concept and value proposition development
- Experience in claims creation/approval processes with Regulatory/Legal/Clinical substantiation
- Planning, coordination, and execution of complex, multi-stakeholder projects end-to-end
- Fluent in English; second language valued
