About the role

Global Technology Services (GTS) at State Street builds enterprise data platforms and reporting solutions to deliver insights for clients. The Senior ETL/Reporting Developer designs, engineers and optimizes large‑scale data pipelines, reporting frameworks and cloud migrations, while collaborating with DevOps and project teams. Hyderabad and Bangalore, India, on-site, hybrid model across both locations.

What you’ll do

Architect scalable data pipelines and models
Develop ETL processes and reporting components
Ensure performance, security, and reliability of deployments
Perform root‑cause analysis of data inconsistencies
Guide teams on best practices for data platforms
Drive automation and release management
Mentor junior developers and share expertise
Contribute to GTS digital transformation initiatives

What you’ll bring

5-8 years data integration experience in financial services
Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development
Actuate or similar reporting tools expertise
Unix/Linux scripting proficiency
Cloud‑native data platform experience (AWS/Azure)
Source control (GIT/SVN) and CI/CD exposure
Performance tuning and query optimization
Understanding of cloud security and networking

Nice to have

Design and develop enterprise reporting solutions
Maintain and troubleshoot reporting frameworks
Optimize SQL queries for large‑volume databases
Support migration of workloads to cloud platforms
Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines
Serve as subject matter expert on data platforms
