About the role
Caterpillar is seeking a Manager Information Technology to lead the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for Solar’s Information Technology Solutions department. The role focuses on ERP – Infor LN or equivalent, MES – Plex, Indirect Purchasing – Coupa, and large deployments. Responsibilities include hiring, growing, and managing a high‑performing team, coaching teams to meet business needs, and ensuring quality compliance. The position requires 10+ years of experience, strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, budget management, and project management skills. The role is on‑site in Bangalore with a 5‑day work week and a shift of 01:00PM‑10:00PM IST. What you’ll bring
- 10+ years experience in ERP – Infor LN or equivalent as architect, analyst, program manager, or leader.
- Strong leadership background managing diverse technical teams.
Nice to have
- Preferable system experience in MES – Plex, Indirect Purchasing – Coupa, etc.
- Successfully executed large deployments as a leader or project / program manager.
