About the role
Senior Associate 1 – GTA at KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP leads external IT audit engagements, driving process understanding, control testing, and SOC assessments for clients. The role manages audit teams, develops automation tools, and mentors junior staff while ensuring compliance with PCAOB, AICPA, and industry frameworks. Based in Bangalore, India, the position is on-site with full‑time commitment.
What you’ll do
- Lead external IT audit engagements
- Conduct process understanding and control testing
- Perform SOC 1/2, HITRUST, SSAE18 assessments
- Develop and test automation tools
- Mentor junior audit staff
- Document findings and recommend controls
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams
- Ensure compliance with auditing standards
What you’ll bring
- BE/B.Tech or equivalent
- 3-6 years audit experience
- Experience with PCAOB, AICPA standards
- Knowledge of SOC 1/2, HITRUST
- Familiarity with IT controls (GITCs, ITACs)
- Experience in ERP, UNIX/Linux, Windows, Cloud
- Understanding of COBIT, COSO, HIPAA
- Strong project management skills
