About the role

Amgen invites a Senior Associate Model Builder, Anaplan to join its Hyderabad team. The role focuses on driving innovation within a highly integrated financial planning landscape, building and enhancing Anaplan models, dashboards, security, and workflow. Candidates will collaborate with architects and product owners, lead small engagements, support user enablement, and continuously improve architecture. The position requires strong Anaplan implementation experience, familiarity with EPM tools, Agile DevOps teamwork, and analytical skills. A bachelor’s or master’s degree and 5‑9 years of relevant experience are required. Preferred certifications include Anaplan Level 3 and SAFe. What you’ll do

  • Develop and enhance Anaplan models, including build and validation of model structure and calculations, dashboard, security and workflow management, performance optimization etc.
  • Work directly with architect and product owner to understand and prioritize application focus and rollout
  • Independently lead small engagements with key business collaborators
  • Support user enablement and training to achieve self-reliance
  • Drive continuous improvement in the architecture by finding opportunities for innovation and efficiency
  • Maintain SDLC documentation using Agile tools such Confluence

What you’ll bring

Master's degree / Bachelor's degree and 5 to 9 years

Nice to have

  • Anaplan Level 3 certification (preferred)
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for Teams (preferred)

Skills

Demonstrable experience implementing at least one Planning solution in Anaplan (preferred) or similar EPM Tools (e.g. Hyperion, OneStream, SAP BPC or TM1)Experience working in multi-functional Agile DevOps teams with ability to adapt to changesStrong learning agility and technical know-howOutstanding interpersonal skillsExcellent critical and analytical thinkingExperience with Tableau a plus
