About the role

Own and drive enterprise mainframe architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap. Lead large-scale modernization initiatives (re-hosting, re-platforming, refactoring, re-architecting) and hybrid cloud integration. Act as technical authority for IBM z/OS, z Systems, Sysplex, GDPS, CICS, IMS, DB2, MQ, VSAM, and high-volume transaction systems. Define architecture standards, enforce security, regulatory, and risk compliance. Mentor architects and senior engineers. 15+ years IT experience, 10+ years in large-scale mainframe environments. Experience in banking, insurance, government, healthcare. IBM certifications preferred.
