About the role

Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Technical Architect at VML leads end‑to‑end architecture and solution design for enterprise‑scale B2C e‑commerce projects. The role defines scalable, secure, high‑performance solutions, drives integrations with OMS, CRM, payment gateways, and mentors development teams. Based in New Delhi, India, the position follows a hybrid model with four days onsite at the VML India Tech Hub.

What you’ll do

• Lead technical architecture and solution design for SFCC B2C projects
• Define scalable, secure, high‑performance e‑commerce solutions
• Review and govern technical designs, code quality, and best practices
• Drive integrations with third‑party systems (OMS, CRM, payment gateways, ERP, PIM, loyalty, marketing platforms)
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Business, QA, DevOps, Product Owners)
• Perform technical estimations, solution reviews, and risk assessments
• Support production issue resolution, performance optimization, and platform stability initiatives
• Mentor and guide developers and technical leads across projects

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years experience in e‑commerce architecture
• 5+ years with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware)
• Strong JavaScript/Node.js skills
• Experience with OCAPI/SCAPI and SFRA
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins)
• AWS/Azure cloud integration experience
• Knowledge of OMS, CRM, payment gateway integrations
• SFCC certification preferred
