EdgeOps Engineer

About the role

The EdgeOps Engineer role supports internal teams and external clients by managing edge infrastructure operations in Pune. Day-to-day duties include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, maintaining secure hardware/software environments, and enforcing security standards. This full-time position requires on-site presence in Pune to ensure optimal uptime and compliance with industry best practices.

What you’ll do

• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for internal teams and external clients.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and remediate issues to ensure optimal uptime.
• Lead and execute day-to-day IT operations related to Edge infrastructure.
• Maintain secure, reliable, and up-to-date hardware and software environments.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, operational workflows, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to plan and implement updates.
• Enforce security standards and compliance requirements across all supported systems.

What you’ll bring

• Strong proficiency in VMware vSphere, vCenter, Aria Operations, and vSAN/NAS technologies.
• Solid experience in Linux system administration (RHEL 7/8/9).
• Hands-on experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam and Rubrik.
• Ability to perform hardware monitoring and provide production support.
• Working knowledge of ITIL service management frameworks.
• Strong understanding of security principles and operational security practices.
