QA Intern – Wi-Fi

About the role

Plume's QA team in Hyderabad, India is hiring a QA Intern – Wi-Fi to test WiFi and platform software at massive scale. Day-to-day work includes designing and running test plans for Wi-Fi connectivity, performance, and functionality; writing Python test automation scripts under guidance; performing functional and regression testing across Wi-Fi and embedded platforms; working with 802.11 and L2/L3 networking (VLAN, NAT, DNS, DHCP) and tools like Wireshark; and reproducing and documenting defects. This is an in-office role based in Hyderabad, India.

What you’ll do

• Help design and run test plans for Wi-Fi connectivity, performance, and functionality
• Write Python test automation scripts under guidance
• Assist with functional and regression testing across Wi-Fi and embedded platforms
• Get hands-on with 802.11, L2/L3 networking (VLAN, NAT, DNS, DHCP), and tools like Wireshark
• Help reproduce and document defects

What you’ll bring

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent) in CSE, ECE, or a related field
• Basic Python scripting (coursework or projects count)
• Interest in networking, Wi-Fi, or embedded systems
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
