About the role

Ericsson is seeking a SharePoint Admin to join its Managed Services department as a Technical Authority Expert, contributing to Ericsson Operations Engine projects across Create, Sustain, and Evolve stages. Day-to-day, you will manage SharePoint health and functionality, administer SharePoint Server versions 2007 through 2019 and SharePoint Online, plan and implement farms, configure governance, workflows, service applications, storage, high availability, and disaster recovery, and perform upgrades, patching, and migrations. The role is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

What you’ll do

• Manage and check overall SharePoint health and functionality
• Perform administration activities on SharePoint Server 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, and SharePoint Online
• Plan and implement SharePoint Farms (2019/2016/2013)
• Manage and configure SharePoint 2010 and 2013 workflows
• Implement and plan SharePoint Governance
• Perform maintenance, enhancements, and ongoing SharePoint administration
• Implement High Availability and Disaster Recovery for SharePoint Farms
• Perform upgrades, patching, and deploy services, applications, and workflows within the SharePoint farm

What you’ll bring

• Senior-level technical knowledge to resolve complex problems via workaround, root cause analysis, and permanent resolution
• Experience administering SharePoint Server 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, and SharePoint Online
• Experience planning and implementing SharePoint Farms (2019/2016/2013)
• Experience with SharePoint Administration, Configuration, Role & Access Management, and Deployment
• Strong understanding of core technologies and concepts of SharePoint On-Premises and Online
• Experience implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery for SharePoint Farms
• Experience performing SharePoint Farm Migrations from lower versions to current version
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues and acting as a technical point of contact for SharePoint
