About the role
GFCD Model Governance Team at MUFG focuses on establishing global model governance for financial crime risk. The Senior Analyst supports end‑to‑end governance of AML, sanctions and KYC models, conducts assessments, maintains documentation and partners with model owners and auditors. Bengaluru, India, on-site (IN).
What you’ll do
- Support governance and lifecycle management of AML, sanctions and risk rating models
- Ensure compliance with model risk policies and conduct annual reviews
- Conduct independent assessments of model design and performance
- Maintain and update model documentation and controls
- Monitor model issues and coordinate remediation plans
- Partner with tuning teams and support regulatory exams and audits
What you’ll bring
- 3-5 years model governance or risk management
- Strong understanding of model lifecycle
- Knowledge of statistics and model performance metrics
- Proficiency in R/Python/SQL for analytics
- Experience with Tableau or similar visualization
- Experience preparing high‑quality model documentation
