About the role

This role within the analytics engineering function in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data transformation and analytics pipelines. Day-to-day work includes building Snowflake data models, dbt transformations, Python automation, and Tableau dashboards while translating business requirements into metrics and ensuring data quality. The position is on-site and requires 6+ years of overall experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI, or a related role.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data transformation and analytics pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and dbt
• Perform data extraction, cleansing, preprocessing, validation, and transformation from multiple data sources
• Develop complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models in Snowflake
• Build and maintain dbt models, macros, tests, snapshots, and documentation following analytics engineering best practices
• Use Python for data preprocessing, automation, data validation, and analytical workflows
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, visualizations, and KPI reporting for business stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into effective data models, metrics, dashboards, and analytical solutions
• Perform data profiling and quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of reporting data

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years of overall experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, BI, or a related role
• Proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, Python, dbt, and Tableau
• Experience with ETL/ELT and dimensional modeling
• Experience with data warehousing concepts
• Ability to design and maintain scalable data transformation and analytics pipelines
• Ability to develop complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models
• Ability to build and maintain dbt models, macros, tests, snapshots, and documentation
• Ability to develop and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, visualizations, and KPI reporting
