About the role

SPEAR Team (Strategic Presales Execution and Readiness) at Appian drives the tools, assets, and governance for global presales. As Lead Demo Engineer you will manage and mentor Chennai Demo Engineers, oversee demo asset creation, and contribute technically to DemoHub and interactive demos. Chennai, on-site, full-time role with occasional global collaboration.

What you’ll do

Lead daily operations of Chennai Demo Engineers
Provide senior technical guidance on demo creation and modernization
Own cataloging and ingestion of demos into DemoHub
Develop and maintain DemoHub application features
Produce interactive clickable demos, videos, scripts, and guides
Collaborate with global SPEAR and presales leadership
Implement process improvements for demo workflow efficiency
Mentor team members for skill growth

What you’ll bring

5+ years Appian or low-code platform development
Experience managing and mentoring technical teams
Strong programming and debugging skills
Ability to deliver polished demo assets
Excellent communication across global teams
