Process Associate II PTP

About the role

Invesco, a leading global investment firm, seeks a Process Associate II, PTP in Hyderabad, Telangana to manage procure-to-pay operations. Day-to-day work includes invoice and payment request verification, coding, processing, PO creation and maintenance, vendor statement reconciliation, and resolving exceptions with the onshore team. The role requires adherence to SOX and internal controls, meeting process SLAs, and supporting continuous improvement. Work hours are 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST with possible late hours or weekend support during close.

What you’ll do

• Invoice/payment requests verification, coding and processing
• Matches invoices to purchase orders
• Review/quality check on invoices and employee expense reports
• Research on hold, unpaid documents and follow-up for resolution
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow-up on past due invoices
• Creation of Purchase Orders and PO Maintenance Activity
• Handle queries via Service Now requests and meet process SLAs
• Payment run – create payment batches, review and resolve exception items with onshore team

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business required
• 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting/accounts payable required
• Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Understanding of internal control elements
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Highly organized with ability to meet strict deadlines
• Excellent customer service skills

Nice to have

• Emphasis in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Experience with accounting and financial systems, preferably Oracle
• Experience in procure to pay process improvement and application systems implementation
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of Financial Services Industry preferred
• Certified Public Accountancy or Chartered Accountancy a plus
