About the role
Marketing Team at Rain Industries drives market development and sales for commercial and industrial power customers. The Assistant Team Lead creates business cases, structures commercial proposals, ensures regulatory compliance, and coordinates scheduling and settlement operations. Based in Hyderabad, on-site work required, with occasional travel to client sites and regulatory bodies.
What you’ll do
- Identify and acquire commercial and industrial customers for open access and wheeling services
- Prepare techno‑commercial proposals, business cases, and pricing models
- Ensure compliance with electricity regulations and update pricing sheets
- Coordinate scheduling, forecasting, and real‑time bidding with operations teams
- Manage meter data, energy accounting, invoicing and settlement reconciliations
- Assist legal and finance teams with contract execution and guarantee arrangements
What you’ll bring
- Hands‑on experience acquiring commercial/industrial power customers
- Knowledge of OA charges, transmission/wheeling losses, and regulatory frameworks
- Familiarity with power market operations (DAM, RTM, scheduling)
- Ability to prepare proposals and business cases with advanced Excel
