About the role

Join ZF's Capricore India team in Hyderabad as a Specialist- Algorithm & Functions for ADAS/AD, developing hands-free driving features for autonomous vehicles. You will design, implement, and optimize C-based algorithms for safe vehicle maneuvers, define and execute simulation tests, and collaborate with validation, testing, and cross-functional R&D teams. The role requires independent, high-responsibility work within a global project environment.

What you’ll do

  • Analyze technical requirements and prepare detailed design documentation
  • Design, implement, and optimize algorithms in C to enable precise and safe vehicle maneuvers during hands-free driving scenarios
  • Define and execute simulation tests and validate algorithm performance in a virtual environment using appropriate simulation tools
  • Collaborate with validation and testing teams to define test cases and ensure algorithm performance meets safety and functional requirements
  • Perform issue management and version control
  • Work independently with a high level of responsibility and engagement

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of experience developing algorithms and functions for ADAS or autonomous driving
  • Proficiency in C programming with understanding of coding standards
  • Familiarity with automotive sensors (cameras, radars, DMS) and their integration into algorithm development
  • Understanding of lane change maneuvers, vehicle dynamics, and kinematics
  • Scripting knowledge in Python and MATLAB
  • Knowledge of ASPICE processes, static analysis, and MISRA checks
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to debug and troubleshoot algorithmic issues
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities for cross-functional collaboration in a global project environment
