About the role
Kovalus Separation Solutions seeks an Instrumentation & Control Specialist in New Delhi, Delhi, working part-time on a hybrid basis. The role spans quotation and project teams, designing systems and specifying components during the quotation phase, then providing technical leadership for design, commissioning, and customer training during project execution. The specialist collaborates with sales, estimating, and customers to ensure process operation and scope requirements are met.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with sales and estimating staff to design potential systems
- Prepare or approve preliminary design documents including instrument list, motor list, control schematics, and related estimation documents
- Perform and document engineering calculations for proposed systems
- Review and approve quotations/contracts as they pertain to process operation and scope
- Design safe and effective systems and components to customer and contractual specifications
- Generate instrument list, instrument specifications, motor list, MCC specifications, cables & cable tray specifications
- Design & engineer PLC & RIO panels
- Provide critical design reviews and approvals at project milestones
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in the food, beverage, FMCG or dairy process industry
- Strong background in Power & Control design, instrument sizing & selection, electricals, and system commissioning
- Results-oriented with strong analytical abilities
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Project management capability
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
