About the role

Associate Technical Lead, Software Development at KLA Corporation focuses on leading small teams to design, develop, and test software for CAPRES product systems, ensuring robust, scalable solutions while driving process improvements and risk mitigation.

What you’ll do

Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of CAPRES product software.
Perform requirements analysis, software design, development and unit testing.
Participate in requirements definition and review process.
Provide technical assessment of impact of changes to product requirements.
Provide technical expertise to estimation process.
Acquire knowledge of key use cases in Magnetic Metrology.
Follow KLA defined software development processes (CMM).
Lead small teams to develop key features.
Understand and make changes to existing software.
Highlight, review and mitigate technical risks with technical lead.
Contribute to improvement of development procedures.
Ensure detailed designs, code, and unit tests are robust and scalable.

What you’ll bring

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years software experience.
Strong programming fundamentals and database knowledge.
Thorough SDLC and software engineering expertise.
Experience in analysis, design, development, unit testing.
Excellent communication across all staff levels.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational skills.
Willingness to travel to Denmark, USA, and other sites.

Nice to have

.NET and C#/WPF development experience.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Python, and AI tools.
Optional: semiconductor domain knowledge.
