About the role
Global Mobility Services (GMS) team at Vialto Partners provides cross‑border tax compliance and advisory for multinational employers and employees. The Senior Tax Associate acts as the first point of contact for employment tax inquiries, advises on tax and social security implications, handles complex tax returns and equity plan taxation, and collaborates with global stakeholders to ensure policy compliance. Bengaluru, on‑site, Full‑time role with opportunities to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
What you’ll do
- Analyze residential status under Income Tax Act, FEMA, and tax treaties
- Advise on tax and social security implications for employees and employers
- Interpret DTAAs to minimize tax liabilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns and foreign asset reporting
- Assess taxability of equity plans such as stock options and RSUs
- Support scrutiny, rectification, and appeals up to CIT level
- Coordinate with stakeholders on global mobility arrangements
- Respond to client, assignee, and partner queries via email and video calls
What you’ll bring
- 1-4 years experience in direct tax or expatriate tax services
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Client relationship management experience
- Leadership and mentorship abilities
- Adaptability to evolving tax laws
