Analytics Consultant

About the role

phData is a remote-first data and AI consultancy partnering with Snowflake, AWS, Anthropic, Glean, and dbt to solve complex data and AI challenges for large enterprises. As an Analytics Consultant, you will gather client requirements through prototyping, execute consulting engagements, and deliver scalable analytics solutions using KNIME, Alteryx, SQL, Snowflake, and Python. You will also manage client expectations, collaborate with sales and marketing, mentor associate consultants, and drive account growth. The role is based in India and is fully remote.

What you’ll do

• Gather client requirements through prototyping, refining them as needed during the engagement
• Execute consulting engagements successfully, delivering high-quality project outcomes
• Manage client expectations through weekly status updates and proactive feedback sessions
• Collaborate with clients to develop scalable, durable analytics solutions using KNIME, Alteryx, and similar low-code/No-code tools along with hands-on experience in SQL, Snowflake, Python and other da
• Create standard workflows, components, data apps, and automated reports in KNIME
• Create standard workflows, analytical apps, reusable macros, and automated reports in Alteryx
• Collaborate with project leads to manage team time effectively and provide clear project timelines to the Analytics Project Manager, sales team, and leadership
• Partner with the sales team to identify additional sales opportunities within client accounts and assist in account growth and expansion

What you’ll bring

• 2-6 years of relevant experience and/or demonstrated expertise in data analytics and data visualization platforms
• Expertise in data preparation using KNIME or Alteryx, or other tools such as Matillion, Dataiku, Coalesce
• Proven experience creating scalable, durable analytics solutions
• Demonstrated expertise in data fluency and communicating to business users
• Knowledge of SQL and experience leveraging data warehouse, data marts, and/or data models
• Exceptional customer-facing skills, including communication and project management
• Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures
• Certification in Advanced level in both KNIME and Alteryx

Nice to have

• 2+ years of consulting experience delivering solutions using Alteryx or KNIME
• Experience working with connecting to data sources like SAP, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Databricks, SharePoint, etc.
• Experience with Python and/or R scripting
