About the role

Apollo Global Management seeks a hands‑on Martech Lead to own backend architecture and performance across enterprise Marketing ecosystem including AEM platform. Lead AEM backend team, define standards, govern repository, optimize performance, mentor developers, drive AI‑assisted engineering tools, integrate Adobe initiatives, conduct code reviews, support hiring, and provide technical escalation.

What you’ll do

  • Drive AI-assisted engineering tools adoption
  • Evaluate & integrate Adobe AI initiatives
  • Stay current on Adobe generative AI roadmap
  • Enable team via AI development training
  • Lead AEM backend dev team
  • Conduct code reviews: security, performance, scalability, clean architecture
  • Mentor on Sling Models, JCR, secure dev
  • Provide technical escalation support
  • Participate in hiring & onboarding

What you’ll bring

  • 12+ yrs enterprise software dev
  • 6-8+ yrs AEM backend dev
  • Java, Sling Models, OSGi, JCR/Oak, Repo Init, ACL, Universal Editor
  • Lead backend architecture decisions
  • Hands‑on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Marketo, Pardot) good to have
  • Review & approve technical designs
  • Lead refactoring for maintainability & performance
  • Support enterprise‑scale public/intranet platforms
  • Debugging & production incident management
