About the role
Technology team at TATA Consultancy Services manages Oracle E-Business Suite environments. The Oracle Apps DBA installs, configures, and maintains EBS, performs backup, recovery, cloning, patching, and supports production, testing, and development systems. Bengaluru office, on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E‑Business Suite environments
- Perform database administration tasks including backup, recovery, cloning, and patching
- Manage upgrades, migrations, and system refresh activities
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Apply AD/TXK patches and CPU updates
- Execute EBS cloning, adclone, and AutoConfig processes
- Support production, testing, and development environments
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams for issue resolution
What you’ll bring
- 5-15 years Oracle Apps DBA experience
- Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) knowledge
- Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c hands‑on
- Backup & recovery (RMAN) expertise
- Linux/Unix environment proficiency
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Multi‑node/RAC experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
