About the role

PwC's Advisory business application consulting team in Pune seeks an SAP Manager to deliver consulting services across SAP applications. Day-to-day work includes analyzing client needs, implementing SAP solutions (with a focus on SAP PS, S/4HANA, and SAP ERP implementations), configuring systems, managing technical objects and plant maintenance processes, and providing training and support to optimize operational efficiency. The role requires client-facing delivery under tight project timelines.

What you’ll do

  • Analyze client needs and implement SAP software solutions across various SAP applications
  • Provide training and support for seamless integration and effective utilization of SAP applications
  • Research, identify, and recommend industry best practices for solving business problems
  • Apply implementation methodology and perform hands-on configuration
  • Manage technical objects including serial number management, material and serial number combination warranties, classes, characteristics, installed base, measurement points, and documents
  • Handle warranty management, maintenance planning, work orders, task lists, maintenance items, maintenance plans, maintenance processing, notification types, catalogs, and catalog profiles
  • Process refurbishment tasks, task list management, plant maintenance in organizational structures of accounting, maintenance projects, and controlling functions in plant maintenance
  • Perform data migration using LSMW/BDC

What you’ll bring

  • 7+ years of SAP implementation experience across multiple projects
  • Strong knowledge of SAP PS and S/4HANA
  • Strong knowledge of business processes and functional/domain knowledge
  • Hands-on experience in SAP configuration
  • Experience managing technical objects including serial number management, warranties, and maintenance planning
  • Experience with data migration using LSMW/BDC
  • Client-facing experience with proven delivery quality under tight project timelines
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, MBA, MCA, or CA
