Vendor Operations Specialist

About the role

Medline India seeks a Vendor Operations Spec in Pune to support healthcare supply chain operations. The role involves analyzing inventory data, managing vendor disputes, and processing chargebacks to prevent financial loss. This is an on-site position requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

What you’ll do

• Analyze reports and workflows related to inbound/outbound inventory
• Investigate product stock issues like damages or expired items
• Manage vendor disputes and negotiate returns to recoup funds
• Process chargeback submissions and identify root causes
• Analyze recalled inventory reports to protect vendor funds
• Safeguard allocation and manage inventory restrictions
• Train new hires and maintain department SOPs
• Maintain shared mailboxes and perform ad hoc reporting

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• At least 1 year of experience as a Vendor Data Specialist
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Experience analyzing large data sets in fast-paced environments

Nice to have

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros, advanced formulas)
• Experience with SAP and/or Zendesk
• Ability to build relationships with internal teams and vendors
