Tax Senior - International (Entities)

About the role

BPM India Advisory Service Private Limited (a subsidiary of BPM LLP) is hiring a Tax Senior - International (Entities) for its International Tax Services (ITS) team. The role focuses on advising multinational corporate clients on cross-border tax implications, including tax planning, restructuring, transfer pricing, and audit defense, while coordinating U.S. and foreign tax laws for optimal worldwide strategy. Day-to-day work includes preparing international tax forms, work papers, tax returns, provisions, and compliance, along with researching and writing memoranda. Based in Bengaluru, this is a hybrid, full-time position.

What you’ll do

• Analyze data and prepare work papers and tax returns based on professional standards for a variety of entities and individuals with focus on international issues
• Independently prepare international tax forms such as Form 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865, 8621, 8832, FBAR, 8938, 8992, 8993, 926 and similar forms
• Identify, research, and assess various international tax concepts and issues
• Maintain thorough knowledge of domestic and international tax concepts, laws, and issues, including IRS, Courts, and other regulatory bodies
• Provide tax provision and compliance services to a diverse base of corporate clients
• Oversee complex international tax research projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries
• Apply creative problem-solving skills to evaluate and select alternative actions to lessen international tax burdens
• Work with clients to minimize their global tax obligations and meet compliance requirements

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in public accounting, law, or industry with an emphasis in International Tax
• BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Ability to recognize, evaluate and communicate tax concepts and issues
• Demonstrated superior client service
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Onesource Income Tax
