About the role

RealPage’s Agentic AI team is leading the Generative AI transformation in PropTech by building next-generation AI applications. As a Senior AI Engineer, you design and ship production-grade agentic features end-to-end, owning backend services, LLM orchestration, and UI integration. This role requires strong software engineering fundamentals to build reliable, systems-level solutions rather than simple scripts. The position is based in Hitech City, TG, IN.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and ship production-grade AI features end-to-end
• Write clean, testable code with CI/CD and observability practices
• Build agentic workflows using OpenAI Agents SDK and Temporal
• Design agents with MCP, tool use, and RAG pipelines at the core
• Develop eval datasets, metrics, and harnesses to drive iteration
• Ship AI features like conversational assistants, summarization, and copilots
• Participate in system design discussions and defend trade-off decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate technical solutions

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years in Software Engineering or Data Science with strong engineering skills
• 1–2 years hands-on experience building with LLMs or agentic AI
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and systems architecture mindset
• Proficiency in Python (primary), SQL, and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with OpenAI Agents SDK and Temporal workflows
• Backend/Frontend skills including GraphQL, MCP, REST APIs, and React
• Knowledge of cloud platforms GCP and AWS, plus Docker and CI/CD
• Evals-first mindset for designing agent metrics and quality assurance
